Interactive TV with competitions
IVR and text messaging during competitions on TV is entertaining and holds the viewers interest.
Possibilities
A host guides viewers through the show and the telephone numbers are displayed on the screen. During the broadcast, there may be quiz questions or word mysteries that have to be solved by the viewers. Participants call an IVR telephone number or send a text message and pay DKK 5-10 to take part. One option can be that the viewer selects one of several numbers to call and either proceeds further in the competition or tries another number.Management and statistics
The IVR and text message set-ups are managed from a website on which continual updates of the statistics for the competitions are displayed. Consequently, it is possible to keep constant track of the number of calls, peak-call times etc.
