In connection with the annual Danish International Media Festival, the Danish Union of Journalists wanted to send out news and notifications about changes to the programme to the particpants. They also wanted to conduct an analysis that showed how happy participants were with the festival that year.

In connection with the annual Danish International Media Festival, the Danish Union of Journalists wanted to send out news and notifications about changes to the programme to the particpants. They also wanted to conduct an analysis that showed how happy participants were with the festival that year.
News module combined with analysis
Telecom Scandinavia provided a text messaging service with an associated internet module from which the Danish Union of Journalists itself could write and send news to various groups of participants.
Also, after the Media Festival, all particpants received a text message saying that the Danish Union of Journalists would like to hear their opinion about the festival, and by calling up and answering five questions they could take part in a draw to win three wine gift cards. At the end of the IVR analysis, callers had the opportunity to record a comment if they wanted. On the associated internet module, the Danish Union of Journalists could view a series of statistics relating to the answers and listen to any comments.

Both participants and organisers got more out of it
The module for sending text messages meant that a large number of participants got more out of the Festival and created a strong basis for the subsequent analysis. The responses to the analysis could be read directly on the internet and thus the Danish Union of Journalists received valuable input for subsequent Media Festivals without having to waste time on the processing of questionnaires.
