M-learning at its best
Virtual counselling is one of M-learning's really strong sides. Danske Bank proved this when, in connection with an internal campaign, it allowed 3,600 employees to advise the virtual "Kaller family".
 
The Kaller family appeared on the IVR line as well-rounded people with hobbies, a job and a host of everyday problems that helped the customer advisers focus on "the soft values" in relation to advising customers.
 
Well-placed gimmicks
The system registered the participation of every single employee so that it was possible, for instance, to reward certain employees for the advice they offered. To their great surprise, participants had the experience of turning up at work and finding a small greeting or token of appreciation from the Kaller family on their desk, thanking them for their good advice. - An effective little gimmick that naturally had a really positive impact on the participation of the rest of the office.
 
High response rate
Management followed the activity on an associated administration site, where they could view the overall results as well as the results for each individual department or employee.
The campaign imparted important knowledge in a fun and novel way which employees found easy to integrate with their other work.
3,600 employees took part in the 3-week training session - an overall response rate of 68%.
