B&O M-LEARNING

Sellers' knowledge needed updating
B&O developed 9 Quick Guides that were to be supplied to selected markets. Each Quick Guide dealt with a specific product group. B&O wanted to be able to check whether the sellers were actually familiarising themselves with these Quick Guides and, furthermore, wanted to encourage them to do so.

M-learning in two languages
Telecom Scandinavia provided a training solution in which the sellers in
B&O's shops in Sweden and Germany were invited to participate while, at the
same time they received the 9 Quick Guides. The training course was held over 5
rounds, with each round containing 4-5 questions relating to one of the 9 Quick
guides and a bonus question selected at random from the product groups. In the
fictitious universe on which the activity was based, the participants entered
into the everyday situation of the customer/seller where they had to demonstrate
their fingertip knowledge of the products. Every week, the participants received
a status e-mail, a reminder and push-mails.
Using the associated internet module, B&O could keep track of participation and the answers - both on a general level and right down to participant level.
Precise effect measurement
The activity generated a high level of awareness about the 9 Quick Guides among B&O employees. In addition, the internet module made it possible for B&O to see the precise effect of the material, thereby giving them an overview of where they needed to intervene with further information and training.
