SUNLOLLY TEXT MESSAGE COMPETITION

 

 
 
New campaign
SunLolly were launching a major campaign for Suntop and, in connection with this, wanted to devise a slightly different way of establishing contact with the consumer.
 
The text message competition ran throughout the campaign
In the text message competition devised by Telecom Scandinavia for SunLolly, participants had to send in a text message containing the word SUN in order to register for the competition. Subsequently, they could take part in the competition once a day throughout the whole campaign period. Telecom Scandinavia drew the winners automatically, who were informed by text message.
 
Huge response
The competition was a huge success with over 40,000 participants responding. The high response was due, for instance, to the fact that the competition was charged at normal rates, the very attractive prizes and that it was geared towards parents.
