V&S WINE TEXT MESSAGE COMPETITION

 

 
Extra dimension to the campaign
V&S Wine were looking for an extra dimension for their Chill Out campaign which had previously consisted of on-pack advertising, TV advertising and posters.
 
Text message competition and campaign site
Telecom Scandinavia provided a complete text message competition and associated campaign website. On the basis of the material on the site, participants had to answer a question via a text message.
 
The competition was charged at normal rates and participants were permitted to enter once a day. The participant was informed immediately whether or not they had answered correctly and all correct answers were entered into the competition to win great prizes.
 
The combination resulted in a very high response rate
The text messaging solution made involvement in the whole campaign easy, and the combination of normal charge rates, instant response and attractive prizes resulted in a very high response rate.
