Text messaging and IVR with automatic winner selection
Telecom Scandinavia contributed with a solution in which the consumer could register for the competition by sending a text message with the word RACE. He then received a text message containing a telephone number to an IVR that he had to call up. He then had to answer 2-3 questions per round with each round lasting 1½ weeks. If the participant had not called up the number within 3 days, a reminder text message was sent.

There was a chance to win both weekly prizes and the big major prize. The system selected winners automatically for each country.
Increased sales
With the help of the competition, Proctor Gamble attracted a great deal of
attention within the retail industry and the result was increased sales and more
shelf-space in the shops.
