ENROLMENT WITH THE SOCIAL DEMOCRATS BY SMS
Telecom Scandinavia has come up with a solution for the Social
Democrats that makes it easy for people to join both the party and the youth
organisation, DSU. All they have to do is send a text message and they will
receive a text message back, thanking them for their enrolment and telling them
that their welcome pack is on the way by post.
The text message has it all
Via the text message, the system automatically reads the new member's name and address. In the event of the member having an ex-directory number, they are sent a text message back asking them to send a new text message with their name and address. All data is sent to the Social Democrat party, for whom it is then easy to send out a welcome letter to new members.
